No. 3 Ichibata Yakushi Temple
Train: Ichibata Railway to Ichibata-guchi Station, then bus/taxi to the temple. (Approx. 20 min. from Matsue Onsen Station and Izumo Station. Car: 25km from Matsue and Izumo. (Approx. 30-40 min.) Parking: Over 100 spaces.
For centuries the temple has been known throughout Japan as Ichibata Yakushi and the Healer of Eyes. It is well known for its old 1300 stone step approach.
